Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, the Westin Hotel will be undergoing a complete renovation beginning this winter with completion expected in late spring, 2012, just in time for our wedding. Guests arriving at the airport (Sea Tac) can easily take the train downtown to within a block of the hotel. For those who prefer a cab, the fare is roughly $30. From the Westin you can walk across the street to take the trolley to South Lake Union, an emerging new neighborhood filled with restaurants, shops and a new park with pretty views of the lake. Also located within a block of the hotel is the elevated monorail that runs back and forth from downtown to the Seattle Center, the site of the Seattle World’s Fair and a beautiful place to walk around and explore the Pacific Science Center or Paul Allen’s Experience Music Project. Two blocks from the Westin is Pacific Place, a new, upscale shopping area spanning four levels with the top floor dedicated to restaurants and a movie theater. Seattle, Washington 98101

Our wedding will be at the Edgewater Hotel located on Seattle’s waterfront which is a short $5 cab ride from the Westin. The Westin is where the wedding party and visiting family members are planning to stay.
Our room block consists of 20 rooms at the following rates:
• Standard Room - $200

Warwick Seattle Hotel
Do not be fooled by the somewhat tired exterior! The interior is renovated, the price is great and many rooms have beautiful views of the Space Needle and water. This hotel is a few blocks from the Westin Hotel so all city action is close by and the wedding venue is a short $5 cab ride away!Our room block of 10 rooms has the following choices:
• Lower tower rooms with no view - $159
• Middle tower rooms with views of the Space Needle or bay - $169
• Top tower executive rooms with the best views - $189

The Edgewater Hotel
This hotel is the wedding venue! The Edgewater is located on Seattle’s waterfront and built on a pier over Elliott Bay with views of the Olympic Mountains providing the essence of the Northwest – water and mountains. The location of this hotel is a walkers’ paradise! The hotel is a few blocks from the Seattle Art Museum Sculpture Park which includes a spectacular paved walk along the water for several miles. In the other direction you walk along the waterfront to the Seattle Aquarium or head up the hill climb to the Pike Place Market. If you continue past the Aquarium, you arrive in Pioneer Square, Seattle’s historic district.
